The woods in peru are unique in hardness and types also they are over 1400 species
in hard and softwoods but only very few reach lima at all.due to very little knowing of the type sand commercial value of others species the loggers usually extract about 32 types of woods also the transport is very difficult from the jungle to the capital due to bad roads weather etc.once they reach lima the woods get treated very badly no kiln drying shade or any type of protection from the weather so it make the choosing very difficult for the buyer to get something good. MOENA NEGRA	LOVLY COLORS DEEP GREEN WITH BLACK STRIPES GOOD TO FINISH
CEDRO	PERUVIAN CEDAR VERY STRONG SMELL TURNS GOOD ON SPINDLES
ULCUMANO	HAVE NOT TRIED YET BUT THEY TELL ME IS GOT GREAT FIGURE AND TURNS GOOD
CHONTAQUIRO	THIS IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES LOOKS LIKE WENGE HARD TO TURN AND FINISH
NOGAL	PERUVIAN WALNUT FAMOUS ABROAD BUT LIKE AMERICAN BETTER TO WOOLY
RENACO	IT IS NOT A TREE BUT A GIANT SRUB BIG TO TURN WILD GRAIN USED BY CARVERS

Also we have some fantastic flooring woods they are very hard as much as lignum but can only as flooring wood in sizes like 3x4 in the future ill try to get some in log sizes the hassle is worth it because they have fantastic grain and figure.
